SVESTI is a social enterprise dedicated to vanquishing the fallacies surrounding people with disabilities.

There are more than 26.8 million differently-abled people (divyang) in India.
Of them more than 60% are unemployed.

In India, leaving people with disabilities out of economy translates into a loss of about 5-7% of GDP.

Even in today's day and age there is still widespread stigma around disability because of which most organisations tend to overlook the capabilities of Divyangs and choose not to hire them considering them unfit for the work environment.

As a result the already deprived Divyang community has fewer work opportunities, reduced earnings and even job loss in many cases. Further to their despair, disability leads to poverty in many households in the sense that those with impairments require extra cost of living due to their specific needs.

"There is no greater disability in society than the inability to see a person as more."

SVESTI was founded with a sole mission to provide equal opportunities to the Indian Divyang, enabling them to take control of their lives and create their own destinies. Our employment and self-employment initiatives are specially designed to assist the Indian Divyang in overcoming the societal stigma and realising their dream of  a joyful and independent life.

Every time you purchase a SVESTI product, you directly support the sustenance of a differently-abled person.

Join the mission. Be a part of something great.
